WinC is dedicated to providing individually customized writing classes and seminars
on a range of topics and to varying audiences.
Local Schools
ODU's Writers in Community partners with local schools throughout Hampton Roads teaching poetry, nonfiction, fiction, and journalism among other topics to students grades 1st through 12th.
Non-Profits & Local Libraries
WinC's partnerships with local organizations and libraries allow us to bring writing seminars to a wide range of writers including the Norfolk NEON festival, Humanities Behind Bars, and the Norfolk Public Library.
Local Businesses
WinC is dedicated to partnering with local businesses with the common goal of enhancing the community through writing classes, readings, and book drives.
